I had no set goal to become a baker, at least that's not what I planned. During the height of the pandemic, my family learned that our beloved housekeeper, Carmen, was struggling to pay her bills. We knew we had to do something to help her as she was so important to us. The answer we didn't see coming? Babka. 

 

We opened our hearts and rolled up our sleeves to begin baking toward a brighter tomorrow for Carmen.

We started with just a few batches and selling through word of mouth, until it grew to what it is today, Babka Bailout. As months passed and Carmen's situation stabilized, we knew that our company would always be one to give back. As of today, we have donated to Families in Honduras, Bakers Against Racism, and Welcome Home Jersey City. 
And it won't stop there.
